Flood Action Group meeting | Cyfarfod Grŵp Atal Llifogydd

I attended a constructive community meeting, organised by Dinas Powys Flood Action Group, for local residents – along with Jane Hutt MS, Natural Resources Wales, Vale of Glamorgan Council officers, and Council Cabinet Members Cllrs Ruba Sivagnanam and Mark Wilson.

We are committed to working together to build resilience in our community, and I will continue to offer support to residents and local organisations in Dinas Powys and Sully to help avoid a repeat of hugely difficult past experiences with flooding, such as in 2020.

Fe wnes i fynychu cyfarfod cymunedol cadarnhaol a oedd wedi ei drefnu gan Grŵp Atal Llifogydd Dinas Powys ar gyfer trigolion lleol. Roedd Jane Hutt AS, Cyfoeth Naturiol Cymru, swyddogion Cyngor Bro Morgannwg, a’r cynghorwyr ac aelodau o Gabinet y Cyngor,  Ruba Sivagnanam a Mark Wilson, hefyd yn bresennol.

Rydym ni wedi ymrwymo i gydweithio er mwyn datblygu cymunedau cydnerth, a byddaf i’n parhau i roi cefnogaeth i drigolion lleol a mudiadau yn Ninas Powys a Sully er mwyn ceisio osgoi gorfod ail-fyw digwyddiad tebyg i lifogydd 2020.
