Commemorating Holocaust Memorial Day | Nodi Diwrnod Cofio'r Holocost

January 27 was Holocaust Memorial Day, when we globally come together to remember the six million Jews and other minority groups who were systematically murdered by the Nazis.

This year marked the 80th anniversary of the liberation of Auschwitz-Birkenau, and I signed the Holocaust Educational Trust memorial book in Parliament on behalf of Cardiff South and Penarth. The Trust does incredible work to ensure that people from every background are educated about the Holocaust. We will never forget.

Roedd hi’n Ddiwrnod Cofio’r Holocost ar 27 Ionawr, ac fe ddaeth pobl ledled y byd at ei gilydd i gofio’r 6 miliwn o Iddewon a phobl o grwpiau lleiafrifol eraill a gafodd eu llofruddio gan y Natsïaid.

Roedd eleni’n nodi 80 mlynedd ers rhyddhau Auschwitz-Birkenau. Fe arwyddais i lyfr cofeb Ymddiriedolaeth Addysgol yr Holocaust  yn y Tŷ Cyffredin ar ran pobl De Caerdydd a Phenarth. Mae’r Ymddiriedolaeth yn gwneud gwaith arbennig er mwyn sicrhau bod pobl o bob cefndir yn cael eu haddysgu am yr Holocost. Ni wnawn ni fyth anghofio.
