Ukraine | Wcráin

I visited Ukraine in my role as Shadow Minister for Europe to meet with MPs, Ministers, and representatives from across Ukrainian civil society to reaffirm them of the support they have in the UK.

It is a source of great strength to those engaged in the defence of Ukraine that the UK parliament is united in its support for them.

I heard from those I met about the sobering reality of life for Ukrainians living under the daily Russian attacks, and heard particularly about the impact this is having on children in Ukraine.

We must and will continue to stand with the people of Ukraine

Bûm yn ymweld ag Wcráin yn fy rôl fel Gweinidog yr Wrthblaid dros Ewrop i gwrdd ag Aelodau Seneddol, Gweinidogion a chynrychiolwyr o bob rhan o gymdeithas sifil Wcráin i’w hatgoffa o’r gefnogaeth sydd ganddynt yn y DU.

Mae gwybod bod senedd y DU yn sefyll yn unedig â nhw yn rhoi llawer o gryfder i’r rheini sy’n ymwneud ag amddiffyn Wcráin.

Wrth siarad â'r bobl y cwrddais â nhw, clywais bethau sy'n ddigon i'ch sobri am realiti bywyd yr Wcreiniaid sy’n byw o dan ymosodiadau dyddiol Rwsia, ac yn enwedig am yr effaith y mae hyn yn ei chael ar blant yn Wcráin.

Rhaid i ni sefyll gyda phobl Wcráin, a byddwn yn parhau i wneud hynny.
