In Grangetown I have worked with our excellent team of Councillors to ensure more resources are focussed on issues from policing, against drug dealing and anti-social behaviour, to raising concerns about waste collection and littering and supported campaigners for alley-gating and against the overdevelopment of the former Track 2000 site.

I’ve also been proud to support the Grange Pavilion, which was the result of three years of collaboration between community members and Cardiff University. Facilities like the Pavilion which enable communities in Grangetown to drop in, run or join activities and meet up are a crucial asset for many people.

I was also pleased to work with Vaughan Gething AM and local councillors to improve transport facilities in Grangetown, which has included persuading Network Rail to trim back the Embankment as well as pushing for improved accessibility to the train station.

I have worked with local residents to campaign for action on parking problems including at City Gardens on Cardiff City match days, and challenges with some apartment complexes within the ward, including challenges regarding estate management and fire safety following the Grenfell tragedy.

I have supported local veterans housing projects via the Welsh Veterans Partnership, and regularly meet with and support a range of businesses locally.
