Greek Orthodox Church of Saint Nicholas |

It was very special to be able to join friends from the Greek Orthodox Church of Saint Nicholas to celebrate an incredible 150 years of the community in Cardiff.

As well as His Grace Bishop Iakovos (formerly our local priest!) and his successor Very Rev. Archimandrite Nicholas Price, we were honoured to be joined by the High Commissioner of Cyprus to the UK, my friend Andreas Kakouris, the Greek Consul, and many other friends from the Greek and Greek Cypriot communities in Cardiff and Wales, other Christian and faith communities and the Lord Lieutenant and Lord Mayor.

This is proud tradition, heritage and history at the heart of our Butetown and Cardiff community. A living community today making a positive difference.

Thanks to George Aspros and Michael Arapis for the kind invitation!
